The most fantastic time to visit Khao Chang Phueak is from the end of the rainy season to the beginning of winter. During this period, the mountainous site transforms into a heavenly landscape surrounded by verdant green nature. As night falls, cold weather and layered mist blanket the area, but creating a picturesque frame that adds to the enchantment. For social media enthusiasts, network connectivity is available, providing the opportunity to share the spectacular charm of nature.

Booking and Preparation:

Securing a spot on the challenging Khao Chang Phueak trek requires meticulous planning. With only 60 visitors allowed per day. Because of Limited operational months from December to January (and sometimes February), early booking is crucial. Camping Fee and Tourist Information:

Admission fees for Thai nationals are THB40 for adults and THB20 for children. While foreign tourists pay THB200 for adults and THB100 for children. Vehicle fees are THB30 for cars and THB20 for motorcycles. The camping fee is THB30 per head per night. The camping ground at Khao Chang Phueak provides private-style restrooms, but there are no showering facilities.

Facilities along the trek are minimal, with no electricity or shops available. Tourists are advised to bring along sufficient water for drinking and cooking. Welfare stores open at resting points on weekdays between 9.00 am – 4.00 pm and weekends between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm.

How to Reach Khao Chang Phueak:

For those with a car, driving from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. Then Thong Pha Phum District offers a scenic route.
